- Fire Starting Fundamentals: Mastering multiple methods of fire ignition (ferro rod, matches, lighter) and learning how to build and maintain a sustainable fire for warmth, cooking, and signaling, even in damp conditions.
- Water Procurement & Purification: Identifying safe water sources, collecting water efficiently, and practical methods for making water safe to drink (boiling, filtering, chemical treatment).
